Project Details
-
Wanting to showcase the I-beams of this new construction we created an awning meant to catch the eye using powder-coated aluminum and cantilevered support beams.
-
Cohesive design elements permeate the interior staircase with unique paneling custom designed for Allen Tate. We chose steel framing for the staircase and square steel tubing for the handrails, all powder-coated. We paired the stairs with cast-in-place concrete stair treads to meet the visual and functional needs of the space. A custom addition to the function of the stairs is the visual appeal of the perforated steel guard panels creating a unique separation in the space.
-
In addition to designing and installing stairs, railing, and a custom awning, we first erected 15 tons of structural steel and installed concrete decking for this client. These steel I-beams created the frame for this building set on King Street in downtown Boone, NC.
Aligning with the client’s desire to show off the structure of their new building some of these steel I-beams were designed to be exposed to create visual appeal throughout this two-story building.
